Why Old Masters?

I am rarely interested in simply recreating a famous painting. Instead, I am drawn to the human stories beneath them—the overlooked figures, private moments, moral conflicts, and acts of courage that continue to resonate across time.

These interpretations are not attempts to copy the originals. They are explorations of the people behind them, reimagined through a contemporary lens while remaining rooted in the spirit of the works that inspired them.
